Why Fibreglass ( GRP / FRP)

Glass Reinforced Plastic; or simply referred to as FRP/GRP; is a composite material consisting of glass fibres embedded in a resin matrix. It has the benefit of load bearing strength of glass fibre and the Corrosion Resistant Properties of Plastic Resins. Additives and fillers are used to enhance functional and mechanical properties of composites; such as Barcol hardness; Structural strength; Tensile strength; Compression strength; Electrical Insulation and Heat resistant. It is used commonly today in a variety of products and structures such as Automotives; Airplanes; Boats; Architectural Buildings; Bulletproof Vests; Prosthetics and Industrial applications; etc.
