Nishi Chauhan

Nishi Chauhan was born in New Delhi, India, and lived most of her life in and around the city before moving to the artistic and cultural city of Lucknow to study Architecture. Her education in Architecture, and later in Industrial Design, has infused in her a love for form and sculpture. Much of her work is inspired by the materials, colours and textures she sees around her, and has grown up with.

She is happiest when working with her hands, and prefer a more tangible approach to design and craftsmanship. She enjoys collaborating with interesting people and working with the rich crafts of India. When not designing products, Nishi splits her time between pottery, analog photography and illustration.
