Back in 1999 the World Cup in England bought together 4 founder members of THE BHARAT ARMY (Raks, Harv, Sukh and Shai), from different parts of England they would watch cricket passionately and follow the Indian Cricket team around the world.
As a result of their continuing support a friendship formed and a need was identified for Team India's first Global Supporters Group. That commitment was realised in May 2002 when the 4 founders devoted time in setting up a supporters group that has now become famous for supporting Team India around the world.
15 Years later we enter a new chapter of The Bharat Army as we welcome Akshay Loomba our new recruit to the Bharat Army Team.
Akshay encompasses all the values required to help us continue to grow The Bharat Army globally, he has a deep passion for cricket, he is tremendously patriotic and most of all an all round good guy!
The Bharat Army continue to support Team India travelling the world for all major ICC Tournaments and major Test and Limited Overs series.
Our membership is now global with members in UK, India, Australia, USA, Middle East, Africa and Europe!
Win Lose or Draw, The Bharat Army will always support our beloved Team India.
