History:

Choraut is one of the oldest village in Sitamarhi.Choraut sthan temple is one of the big temple in this area. Choaraut animal mela is very much famous in this area. two river Rato and Yamuni flows in the west part of Choraut. every year big flood come due to this river. Big part of land in this area is belongs to Late Shri Lakhan Narayan. They are very famous Landlord of choraut.
