Set up in 1997, IL&FS Education Group is the social infrastructure arm of IL&FS (www.ilfsindia.com). Collectively the Group works to Build India’s Education, Employability and Employment highway.

Along with its subsidiary companies, IL&FS Skills Development Corporation (facebook.com/isdc) and IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative, the Group has transformed lives of 15 lakh people across 28 states of India, 17 countries in Africa, South East Asia and Philippines. Our work focuses around Education, Skills Development, Cluster Development and Health Management across India.

We work with schools, teachers, educators, administrators, parents to create improved learning environment throughout innovative education technology and teaching – learning methods. We develop world-class industrial infrastructure in 11 key sectors of economy including agriculture, food processing, textile, electronics to empower MSMEs and also work in sectors like Handloom and Handicraft to generate livelihoods, especially for women.

Our work been recognized globally by Mckinsey & Company as one of the top two initiatives aimed at faster and inclusive growth. Recently, Business Today (July 2015) recognized us as the Fastest Growing Emerging Company in the Rs 500 – 1000 crore JV/Subsidiary category.
