The world is full of diversity. Mountains have a presence no less beautiful than the valleys and oceans. Every tree is uniquely individual, and no two animals are quite the same. When we look at the human race, the originality of complexions, eye colours and personalities is simply astounding. Too often, these differences lead to division, rather than being a cause for celebration. Yet more connects us, than separates us. Whichever continent or culture we come from, and irrespective of our beliefs, language or economic status, we share a common thread - our essential ‘Humanness’.

This Humanness is felt when we share in each other’s joy, or exchange kindness in moments of adversity. Such experiences remind us of our connection to each other - our innate sense of ‘Oneness’. This Oneness is in fact the foundation for human values, and the very basis for peace, love and harmony in the world.

The Sant Nirankari Mission seeks to renew our sense of Humanness, by inspiring a deeper experience of Oneness. As a global spiritual and humanitarian movement, the Mission invites us to realise our common Source - the Formless Essence, ‘Nirankar’. In this realisation, there is the promise of ‘peace, not pieces’. When the fragmented self become whole, it becomes possible to bridge all differences with self and, by extension, with others. Humanness flows spontaneously, from such a state of Oneness. In the timeless words of His Holiness Nirankari Baba, spiritual leader of the Sant Nirankari Mission, ‘Know One, Believe in One, Be One’.
