BACKGROUND:
The Goodwill Fabrics group is a 100% family-owned Indian business which operates from multiple geographical locations, primarily based on leveraging the regional strengths (e.g. garment factories in Southern India where skilled resources are available, although our fabric mills are in other parts of India)
We are a USD 100 million turnover private limited company with no debt and run by a professionally qualified management team which includes a Chemical Engineer from a premier institute in India, a well respected Senator from Bhilwara (who is a qualified Chartered Accountant), a former Strategy Consultant from the global consulting firm Accenture and a Logistics and Distribution specialist with extensive experience in dealer-management, among others
Our core business has been fabrics and we expanded into garment production in 1999 as an 100% export based garment manufacturer - we have a current garment production capacity of 250,000 pieces per month and are currently in the process of further expanding this capacity. We have a strong customer base including key global brands such as Quiksilver (50,000 garments per month), Hurley (50,000 garments per month), Billabong (15,000 garments per month) and Warehouse UK (25,000 garments per month), among others
We produce over 3 million metres of fabric every month and all of it is sold in India through a dedicated set of over 550 agents covering the majority of provinces in the country
Given our exceptional relationships with our dealers, we are confident that we can leverage-off this dealer base, should we foray into launching a garment brand in the Indian market

INFRASTRUCTURE:

Fabric Mills (Western and Northern India):
Bhilwara, Rajasthan: Mill with 400 Sulzer High Speed Looms producing 18 million metres per annum of a variety of fabrics including poly/rayons, cottons, poly/cotton blends and speciality fibre fabrics
Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: Mill producing Wool-Blend suiting fabrics - 88 Donear Looms, 36 P7100 Sulzer Looms, KD Bella (Italy) Finishing Machine, Osthoss (Germany) Singing Machine, Fost (Italy) Flow Dyeing, Voelen (Switzerland) Winding, Shearing Machine for finishing Poly/Wool Fabrics
Mumbai, Maharashtra: Mill with 400 RUTI Looms producing 12 million metres per annum - Shirting Fabric in Cotton, Poly/Rayon and Poly/Cotton

Garment Factories (Southern India):
Over 900 Japanese made JUKI, BROTHER and SINGER Machines with specialized ancillary machines supported with modern laundry/finishing machines in Bangalore (Karnataka) and Dharampuri (Tamil Nadu)
In excess of 1400 skilled workers permanently employed with proper welfare facilities while meeting all compliance requirements - we are regularly audited by our major clients - Hurley (Nike), Quiksilver, Billabong, among others and are approved by CSCC for Quiksilver Australia and also approved by SUMERA as a Nike (Hurley) supplier
Dedicated sampling sections in each factory
We have our own fabric warehouse facilities
Administrative and Quality Assurance staff members manage all of our factories
We are in the process of expanding our our garment production facilities in Dharampuri - hence capacity is not a constraint

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
Our main competitive advantage is that we are one of the very few garment manufacturers who have our own in-house fabric mills. This gives us a lot of flexibility to work with clients in new developments and also allows clients to start working with us with smaller minimums. Given the huge emphasis by companies on reducing costs, we believe that in working with us, clients are able to reduce costs as they would be working directly with a garment manufacturer with in-house fabric mills

As we have been working with major global brands (some for over 12 years now), we understand their requirements and quality standards. We have a team of experienced merchandisers who work well with client teams. Infact we have worked closely with some of our global clients in markets where they previously had small market-share and we grew with them in those markets over a period of time - we are keen on working with clients for the long-term and for building mutually beneficial relationships
