The Deemed to be University has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade 'A' for its overall performance. It houses 33 distinct buildings for different institutes and research centers with 16 conference & Seminar Halls and 2 auditoriums specially equipped with modern facilities. The faculty strength is roughly 1100 strong. 292 Research Scholars and around 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students are pursuing their study in different disciplines. The faculty members and students of the university enjoy 1Gbps internet connectivity and fully Wi-fi Campus and enrich themselves through 1,81,806 Books and 14,897 e-Journals.

The also emphasizes that the standards of instructions, systems and academic regulations are aligned with any top class institutes / Universities of the Nation. It is periodically benchmarking with other top class institutions to learn and develop innovative methods for academic governance. The intention is to put SOA as one of the preferred destinations for higher education in the country.
